enclosures in a direct attached storage (DAS) environment. iQstor's SBOD
Manager is a wizard-based, policy-driven tool that dynamically configures,
manages and monitors the J2880 SBOD with minimal IT resources,
delivering a cost-effective solution that maximizes end-user storage
investments.

With iQstor's SBOD Manager you can monitor status and events about disk
drives, power supplies, cooling modules and system temperature. You can
also monitor host and hub status as well as configuring policies for polling
intervals and user notification options. iQstor's SBOD Manager offers
extensive disk drive management capabilities such as multi-drive firmware
upgrade, low-level formatting and user defined disk spin down policies.
